We sent Noah to his people. He said, "O my people, worship God; you have no other god but He. I fear for you the punishment of a dreadful Day," 59 The leaders of his people said, “Indeed we see you in open error.” 60 'I am not in error, my nation' he replied. 'I am a Messenger from the Lord of the Worlds 61 I bring to you the messages of my Lord, and give you sincere advice, for I know from God what you do not know. 62 Do you find it so strange that a message should come from your Lord through a man from among yourselves, so that he may warn you and so that you may fear God and be shown mercy?" 63 But they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the Ark, and We drowned those who rejected Our signs. They were indeed a blind people. 64
