Certainly We sent Nuh to his people, so he said: O my people! serve Allah, you have no god other than Him; surely I fear for you the chastisement of a grievous day. 59 The leaders of his people said, “Indeed we see you in open error.” 60 'I am not in error, my nation' he replied. 'I am a Messenger from the Lord of the Worlds 61 I convey to you the messages of my Lord, give you sincere advice, and I know from Allah that which you do not know. 62 "Do ye wonder that there hath come to you a message from your Lord, through a man of your own people, to warn you,- so that ye may fear Allah and haply receive His Mercy?" 63 But they belied him, so We saved him and those along with him in the ship, and We drowned those who belied Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). They were indeed a blind people. 64
