If they charge thee with falsehood, say: "My work to me, and yours to you! ye are free from responsibility for what I do, and I for what ye do!" 41 Some of them listen to you. But can you make the deaf hear you, even though they cannot understand? 42 Some of them look toward you: But can you show the blind the way even when they cannot see? 43 Surely Allah does not do any injustice to men, but men are unjust to themselves. 44 The Day when He will gather them, (it will be) as though they had lingered but an hour of the Day and they will recognize one another. Lost are those who belied the meeting with their Lord and were not guided. 45 Whether We show you (in your lifetime, O Muhammad SAW) some of what We promise them (the torment), - or We cause you to die, - still unto Us is their return, and moreover Allah is Witness over what they used to do. 46 And every nation had an apostle; so when their apostle came, the matter was decided between them with justice and they shall not be dealt with unjustly. 47 They say: "When is this promise going to come, if what you say is true?" 48 Say: 'I have no power to profit for myself, or hurt, but as God will. To every nation a term; when their term comes they shall not put it back by a single hour nor put it forward.' 49 Say: Tell me if His punishment overtakes you by night or by day! what then is there of it that the guilty would hasten on? 50 Then is it that when it has [actually] occurred you will believe in it? Now? And you were [once] for it impatient 51 Then it will be said to them who wronged themselves: "Taste you the everlasting torment! Are you recompensed (aught) save what you used to earn?" 52 They ask you, "Is that (punishment) true?" Tell them, "It certainly is. I swear by my Lord. You can not escape from (God's retribution)". 53
