We gave the people of Israel a settled abode, and bestowed good things on them to eat and use. So they did not differ until they came to have knowledge. Your Lord will assuredly settle their differences on the Day of Resurrection. 93 And if thou be in doubt concerning that which We have sent down unto thee, then ask those who have read the Books before thee. Assuredly hath the truth come unto thee from thy Lord, so be not then of the doubters. 94 And be not thou of those who deny the revelations of Allah, for then wert thou of the losers. 95 Verily those on whom the word of thy Lord hath been justified shall not believe. 96 Even if every Sign was brought unto them,- until they see (for themselves) the penalty grievous. 97 So if only had there been one dwelling* that believed and its belief would have benefited it – except the nation of Yunus (Jonah)! When they accepted faith, We removed the disgraceful punishment in the life of this world from them, and let them enjoy for a while. (* That was destroyed after being warned.) 98 And if your Lord willed, all those who are in the earth – everyone of them – would have accepted faith; so will you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) force the people until they become Muslims? 99 And it is not for a soul to believe except by permission of Allah, and He will place defilement upon those who will not use reason. 100 Say thou: behold that which is in the heavens and the earth; and signs and warnings avail not those who will not believe. 101 So what are they waiting for, except the days similar to the days of those who passed away before them? Say, “Then wait! I too am waiting with you.” 102 We saved Our Messengers and those who believed; We must save the believers. 103
