Believers, seek assistance in patience and prayer, Allah is with those who are patient. 153 And do not say about those who are killed in the way of Allah, "They are dead." Rather, they are alive, but you perceive [it] not. 154 And surely We shall try you with something of fear and hunger, and loss of wealth and lives and crops; but give glad tidings to the steadfast, 155 Who, when there afflicteth them an affliction, say: verily we are Allah's, and verily unto Him we are returners. 156 On such men are the blessings of God and His mercy, for they are indeed on the right path. 157 ۞ Lo! (the mountains) As-Safa and Al-Marwah are among the indications of Allah. It is therefore no sin for him who is on pilgrimage to the House (of Allah) or visiteth it, to go around them (as the pagan custom is). And he who doeth good of his own accord, (for him) lo! Allah is Responsive, Aware. 158 Indeed those who hide the clear proofs and the guidance which We sent down, after We made it clear to mankind in the Book – upon them is the curse of Allah and the curse of those who curse. 159 Save those that repent and amend, and make manifest the truth; these it is toward whom I relent. And I am the Relenting, the Merciful! 160 But those who disbelieve, and die disbelieving shall incur the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people. 161 They will abide therein: Their penalty will not be lightened, nor will respite be their (lot). 162 And your god is one God. There is no deity [worthy of worship] except Him, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. 163
