Al-Rahman 2 of 3
All that is on earth will perish, 26 And everlasting is the Entity of your Lord, the Most Majestic and the Most Honourable. 27 So which of the wonders of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 28 All those who are in the heavens and the earth ask of Him; every moment He is in a state (of glory). 29 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 30 We shall attend to you, O you two classes (jinns and men)! 31 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 32 O ye assembly of Jinns and men! If it be ye can pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, pass ye! not without authority shall ye be able to pass! 33 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 34 Flames of fire and molten brass shall be sent against both of you, and you will not be able to defend yourselves. 35 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 36 (On the Day of Judgment) when the heavens are rent asunder they will have a flowery color and flow like oil. 37 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 38 For, on that Day, neither man nor jinn will be questioned about his sins. 39 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 40 All who were lost in sin shall by their marks be known, and shall by their forelocks and their feet be seized! 41 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 42 This is Gehenna (Hell) which the sinners belied, 43 They will keep circling around between Hell and boiling water. 44 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 45

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
