Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed the signs of the Zodiac in the sky, and decked it out for those who can see; 16 And We guard it against every accursed Shaitan, 17 Except one who comes to eavesdrop – therefore a bright flame goes after him. 18 And the earth! We have stretched it out and have cast thereon mountains firm, and We have caused to spring up thereon everything weighed. 19 and there appointed for you is a livelihood, and for those you do not provide. 20 And there is not a thing but that with Us are its depositories, and We do not send it down except according to a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 And indeed it is We Who give life and it is We Who cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 Lo! thy Lord will gather them together. Lo! He is Wise, Aware. 25
