And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders. 16 and We have made them secure against every satanic force accursed 17 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame. 18 And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. 19 We have provided on it sustenance for you, and for those you cannot provide. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 And We sent the winds that relieve the clouds’ burden, therefore caused water to descend from the sky, then give it to you to drink; and you are not at all its treasurers. 22 Lo! and it is We, even We, Who quicken and give death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 Surely We know those of you who have passed before and those who will come later. 24 And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing. 25
