"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 'Enter you them, in peace and security!' 46 We shall cleanse their hearts of all traces of ill-will; they will be like brethren seated on couches facing one another. 47 "No sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave it." 48 ۞ (Muhammad), tell My servants that I am All-forgiving and All-merciful 49 and that My punishment is a painful one. 50 Tell them about Abraham's guests: 51 When they came to him and said: "Peace," he answered: "Truly we are afraid of you." 52 They said: "Fear not! We give thee glad tidings of a son endowed with wisdom." 53 He said: 'What is this, do you bring me glad tidings even though I am old' Of what do you give me glad tidings' 54 They (the angels) said: "We give you glad tidings in truth. So be not of the despairing ones." 55 He replied: 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, except those that are astray? 56 Messengers, what is your task?" 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 Only the family of Lot will all be saved, 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60
