And the people of the Hijr (rocks) denied the Noble Messengers. 80 And though We had given them Our signs they turned away from them. 81 They were hewing the mountains into houses, therein dwelling securely; 82 But the shriek seized them at early morning. 83 And all that which they used to earn availed them not. 84 And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness. 85 Your Lord is indeed the Creator of all, the All-Knowing. 86 We have given you the seven dual (verses, Al Fatihah) and the Mighty Holy Reading (Koran). 87 Do not direct your eyes towards the things We have given to some of their couples to enjoy, and do not at all grieve because of them, and take the Muslims within the folds of your mercy. 88 and say: "Behold, I am indeed the plain warner [promised by God]! 89 [For, thou art the bearer of a divine writ] such as We have bestowed from on high upon those who [afterwards] broke it up into parts, 90 Who have made the Qur'an into portions. 91 So by your Lord, We will surely question them all 92 for whatever they have done! 93 So proclaim that which thou art commanded, and withdraw from the idolaters. 94 For sufficient are We unto thee against those who scoff,- 95 and those who set up other gods with Allah, indeed, they will soon know. 96 We certainly know that their statements sorely grieve you. 97 Therefore proclaim the Purity of your Lord with praise, and be of those who prostrate. 98 And serve your Lord until there comes to you that which is certain. 99
