And Nuh's people belied the sent ones. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 I would not drive away the believers; 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said, “O Nooh, if you do not desist you will surely be stoned.” 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
