And the dwellers in Al-Hijr denied (Our) messengers. 80 We gave them Our signs, but they turned away from them. 81 They used to hew out houses from the mountains and lived in security. 82 the blast overtook them early one morning. 83 and that which they had earned did not help them. 84 And We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, except with the Truth; and indeed the Last Day will come, therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), forbear graciously. 85 Indeed your Lord only is the Great Creator, the All Knowing. 86 And indeed, We have bestowed upon you seven of Al-Mathani (the seven repeatedly recited Verses), (i.e. Surat Al-Fatiha) and the Grand Quran. 87 Look not with your eyes ambitiously at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them (the disbelievers), nor grieve over them. And lower your wings for the believers (be courteous to the fellow-believers). 88 and say, 'Surely, I am the manifest warner.' 89 Such as We send down for those who make division, 90 Those who break the Qur'an into parts. 91 By your Lord We shall question them one and all 92 about whatever they had been doing! 93 Therefore expound openly what thou art commanded, and turn away from those who join false gods with Allah. 94 Verily We will suffice unto thee against the mockers. 95 Who set some other god along with Allah. But they will come to know. 96 We certainly know that you feel sad about what they say against you. 97 So glorify the praises of your Lord and be of those who prostrate themselves (to Him). 98 And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty (death). 99
