And the people of the Hijr (rocks) denied the Noble Messengers. 80 And We gave them Our Signs, but they were averse to them. 81 They used to hew out houses from the mountains and lived in security. 82 But the shriek seized them at early morning. 83 And all that they had done (for security) availed them nothing. 84 We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, save in truth. Surely the Hour is coming; so pardon thou, with a gracious pardoning. 85 Indeed your Lord only is the Great Creator, the All Knowing. 86 And certainly We have given you seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the grand Quran. 87 Stretch not thine eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy; and do not sorrow for them, and lower thy wing unto the believers, 88 And say: "I am indeed a plain warner." 89 such as We send down for those who are divisive, 90 And severed their Scripture into fragments. 91 So by your Lord, We will surely question them all 92 Of what they used to do. 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 We will, surely, suffice you against those who mock, 95 Those who adopt, with Allah, another god: but soon will they come to know. 96 We know indeed thy breast is straitened by the things they say. 97 So hallow thou the praise of thy Lord, and be thou of the prostrate. 98 And serve thy Lord until there come unto thee the Hour that is Certain. 99
