And the people of the Hijr (rocks) denied the Noble Messengers. 80 We brought them Our signs, and they turned away from them. 81 They hewed their dwellings out of the mountains in safety. 82 Then the Blast caught them in the morning 83 and that which they had earned did not help them. 84 AND [remember:] We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them without [an inner] truth; but, behold, the Hour [when this will become clear to all] is indeed yet to come. Hence, forgive [men's failings] with fair forbearance: 85 Your Lord is indeed the Creator of all, the All-Knowing. 86 And certainly We have given you seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the grand Quran. 87 Cast not thine eyes toward that which We have let classes of them to enjoy; and grieve not over them, and lower thy wing unto the believers. 88 And say: Lo! I, even I, am a plain warner, 89 (Of just such wrath) as We sent down on those who divided (Scripture into arbitrary parts),- 90 and who have broken the Scripture into fragments -- 91 By your Lord, We will question them all 92 About all what they used to do. 93 Therefore declare openly what you are bidden and turn aside from the polytheists. 94 We are surely sufficient to deal with those who scoff at you, 95 Who set up along with Allah another god; presently they shall know. 96 We do indeed know how your heart is distressed at what they say. 97 But you should glorify your Lord with praises, and be among those who bow in submission; 98 and worship your Lord until what is certain [death] comes to you. 99
