Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ The affair of Allah cometh, so seek not to hasten it. Hallowed be He and Exalted above that which they associate. 1 He sends down the angels with the soul of faith – the divine revelations – towards those among His bondmen He wills that, “There is no worship except for Me, therefore fear Me.” 2 He hath created the heavens and the earth with truth. High be He Exalted above all that they associate (with Him). 3 He created man out of a [mere] drop of sperm: yet he shows himself to be openly contentious! 4 And the cattle, He has created them for you; in them there is warmth (warm clothing), and numerous benefits, and of them you eat. 5 And in them is your elegance, when you bring them home at evening, and when you leave them to graze. 6 They carry your loads to a land which you could not otherwise reach except by painful toil to oneself. Your Lord is the Clement, the Most Merciful. 7 He has created horses, mules and donkeys, so that you may ride them, and also so that they may be put on show, and He creates other things beyond your knowledge. 8 And the middle path rightly leads to Allah – any other path is wayward; and had He willed He would have brought all of you upon guidance. 9
