۞ And Allah has said: Take not two gods, He is only one Allah; so of Me alone should you be afraid. 51 And His is all that is in the heavens and on earth, and to Him [alone] obedience is always due: will you, then, pay reverence to aught but Him? 52 And whatever of comfort ye enjoy, it is from Allah. Then, when misfortune reacheth you, unto Him ye cry for help. 53 yet no sooner does He relieve your distress than some among you set up other partners besides their Lord, 54 that they may show unthankfulness for that We have given them. So take your joy; certainly you will soon know! 55 And they set apart for what they do not know a portion of what We have given them. By Allah, you shall most certainly be questioned about that which you forged. 56 They attribute daughters to God, the glorious, but for themselves whatsoever they please. 57 And when one of them is informed of [the birth of] a female, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief. 58 With shame does he hide himself from his people, because of the bad news he has had! Shall he retain it on (sufferance and) contempt, or bury it in the dust? Ah! what an evil (choice) they decide on? 59 For those who believe not in the Hereafter is an evil description, and for Allah is the highest description. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. 60
