Al-nahl 12 of 16

The day We shall call a witness from every people, the unbelievers will not be allowed to make excuses. 84 And when those who have done wrong will behold the torment, it will not be lightened unto them, nor will they be respited. 85 And when those who associated partners with Allah see their (Allah's so-called) partners, they will say: "Our Lord! These are our partners whom we used to invoke besides you." But they will throw back their word at them (and say): "Surely! You indeed are liars!" 86 And they shall tender submission to Allah on that day; and what they used to forge shall depart from them. 87 Those who disbelieved and averted [others] from the way of Allah - We will increase them in punishment over [their] punishment for what corruption they were causing. 88 And the day We shall raise up from every nation a witness against them from amongst them, and We shall bring thee as a witness against those. And We have sent down on thee the Book making clear everything, and as a guidance and a mercy, and as good tidings to those who surrender. 89
