In this Koran We have clarified so that they may remember; but it has only increased their aversion. 41 Say, "If there were [other] deities along with Him, as they claim, then they would surely have tried to find a way to the Lord of the Throne. 42 Purity and Supremacy are to Him from what they utter, a Great Supremacy! 43 The seven heavens and the earth and all those in them say His Purity; and there is not a thing that does not proclaim His purity with praise, but you do not understand their proclamation of purity; indeed He is Most Forbearing, Oft Forgiving. 44 And when you read the Qur’an O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings upon him), We created an invisible barrier between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter. 45 and We lay veils upon their hearts lest they understand it, and in their ears heaviness. And when thou mentionest thy Lord only in the Koran, they turn in their traces in aversion. 46 We are fully aware of what they wish to hear when they listen to you; and what they say when they converse in private; and when the wrongdoers say, "You are only following a man who is bewitched!" 47 See the kind of examples they invent for you! They therefore strayed, so cannot find a path. 48 And they say: When we are bones and fragments, shall we forsooth, be raised up as a new creation? 49 Say thou: become ye stones or iron. 50 ۞ Or some other creature of those which are too hard (to receive life) in your minds! But they will say: Who will return us? Say: Who created you at first. Still they will shake their heads at you and say: When will it be? Say: Maybe it has drawn nigh. 51 A day when He will call you and ye will answer with His praise, and ye will think that ye have tarried but a little while. 52
