We have explained [the truth] in this Quran in various ways, so that they may take heed, but it has only increased their aversion. 41 Say: 'If there had been other gods with Him, as they say, they would surely have sought a way to the Lord of the Throne' 42 Too glorious and high is He, too exalted for what they say! 43 The seven heavens and the earth and whatever is in them exalt Him. And there is not a thing except that it exalts [Allah] by His praise, but you do not understand their [way of] exalting. Indeed, He is ever Forbearing and Forgiving. 44 When you recite the Quran We place a curtain as a barrier between you and those who do not believe in the life to come. 45 And We put coverings over their hearts (and minds) lest they should understand the Qur'an, and deafness into their ears: when thou dost commemorate thy Lord and Him alone in the Qur'an, they turn on their backs, fleeing (from the Truth). 46 We know very well how they listen when they listen to thee, and when they conspire, when the evildoers say, 'You are only following a man bewitched!' 47 See what they liken you to! So they have gone astray and cannot find the way. 48 And they say, “When we have become bones and decomposed, will we really be raised up anew?” 49 Say (O Muhammad SAW) "Be you stones or iron," 50 ۞ Or anything created of the things more remote in your breasts. Then they will say: who will restore us! Say thou: He who created you the first time. Then they will wag their heads at thee and say; when will it be! Say thou: belike it is nigh 51 on the day when He will call you, and you will answer praising Him, and you will think you have but tarried a little.' 52
