▼ 17 The Night Journey
Al-Isra 8 of 12

The Day will surely come when We shall summon every people with their leader. Then those who are given their records in their right hands will read their records [eagerly] and shall not in the least be wronged: 71 But those who were blind in this world, will be blind in the hereafter, and most astray from the Path. 72 (Such blind ones) try to confuse what We have revealed to you so that they may falsely ascribe to Us something other than the true revelation and thus establish friendship with you. 73 And had We not kept you steadfast, possibly you might have inclined to them just a little. 74 In that case We would certainly have made you to taste a double (punishment) in this life and a double (punishment) after death, then you would not have found any helper against Us. 75 And surely they purposed to unsettle you from the land that they might expel you from it, and in that case they will not tarry behind you but a little. 76 (This was Our) Sunnah (rule or way) with the Messengers We sent before you (O Muhammad SAW), and you will not find any alteration in Our Sunnah (rule or way, etc.). 77
