The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
