Establish prayer at the decline of the sun [from its meridian] until the darkness of the night and [also] the Qur'an of dawn. Indeed, the recitation of dawn is ever witnessed. 78 And of the night - keep the vigil therein, as an act of supererogation for thee; belike thy Lord will raise thee up in a station praised. 79 And pray: "O my Lord, let my entry be with honour, and let my exit be with honour, and grant me power from You which would help (sustain) me." 80 And say: "The truth has now come [to light,] and falsehood has withered away: for, behold, all falsehood is bound to wither away!" 81 And We reveal of the Quran that which is a healing and a mercy to the believers, and it adds only to the perdition of the unjust. 82 When We are gracious to man he turns away and moves aside; yet when evil befalls him he begins to despair. 83 Say: "Everyone acts in a manner peculiar to himself - and your Sustainer is fully aware as to who has chosen the best path." 84
