And We had certainly given Moses nine evident signs, so ask the Children of Israel [about] when he came to them and Pharaoh said to him, "Indeed I think, O Moses, that you are affected by magic." 101 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Verily, you know that these signs have been sent down by none but the Lord of the heavens and the earth as clear (evidences i.e. proofs of Allah's Oneness and His Omnipotence, etc.). And I think you are, indeed, O Fir'aun (Pharaoh) doomed to destruction (away from all good)!" 102 So he resolved to scare them out of the land: but We drowned him along with all those who were with him. 103 And thereafter We said to the Children of Israel: 'Dwell in the land. When the promise of the Everlasting Life comes We shall bring you all together' 104 And with truth We have sent it down and with truth it hath come down; and We have not sent thee but as a bringer of glad tidings and a warner. 105 And We sent down the Qur’an in parts, that you may gradually recite it to the people, and We sent it down slowly in stages. 106 Say, "Believe in it or do not believe. Indeed, those who were given knowledge before it - when it is recited to them, they fall upon their faces in prostration, 107 and say, "Exaltations be to our Lord! The promise of our Lord is done.' 108 They fall down upon their faces weeping, and [the Quran] increases their humility." ۩ 109 Say: 'Call upon Allah, or call upon the Merciful; whichever (Name) you call upon, to Him belong the Most Beautiful Names' Pray neither loudly nor to quietly, rather, seek a middle course between them. 110 Say: "Praise be to Allah, who begets no son, and has no partner in (His) dominion: Nor (needs) He any to protect Him from humiliation: yea, magnify Him for His greatness and glory!" 111
