And [mention] when Moses said to his servant, "I will not cease [traveling] until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for a long period." 60 But when they reached the junction of the two seas, they forgot their fish, and it took its way through the sea as in a tunnel. 61 When they had gone past (the confluence), Moses said to his servant: "Give me my breakfast. I am exhausted from this journey." 62 He said, 'What thinkest thou? When we took refuge in the rock, then I forgot the fish-and it was Satan himself that made me forget it so that I should not remember it -- and so it took its way into the sea in a manner marvellous.' 63 [Moses] exclaimed: "That [was the place] which we were seeking! And the two turned back, retracing their footsetps, 64 and found one of Our worshipers to whom We had given from Our Mercy, and to whom We had taught knowledge of Ours. 65 Musa (Moses) said to him (Khidr) "May I follow you so that you teach me something of that knowledge (guidance and true path) which you have been taught (by Allah)?" 66 He (Khidr) said: "Verily! You will not be able to have patience with me! 67 And how shouldst thou bear patiently that thou hast never encompassed in thy knowledge?' 68 "You will find me patient if God wills," said Moses; "and I will not disobey you in any thing." 69 The other said: "If then thou wouldst follow me, ask me no questions about anything until I myself speak to thee concerning it." 70
