And mention Musa in the Book; surely he was one purified, and he was an apostle, a prophet. 51 We called him from the right side of the Mount, and brought him close for communion; 52 and out of Our mercy We appointed his brother Aaron, a Prophet (that he may assist him). 53 AND CALL to mind, through this divine writ, Ishmael. Behold, he was always true to his promise, and was an apostle [of God], a prophet, 54 And he was wont to command his household to the prayer and the poor-rate, and he was with his Lord an approved one. 55 Also mention in the Book the case of Idris: He was a man of truth (and sincerity), (and) a prophet: 56 and We exalted him to a lofty position. 57 Those were the ones upon whom Allah bestowed favor from among the prophets of the descendants of Adam and of those We carried [in the ship] with Noah, and of the descendants of Abraham and Israel, and of those whom We guided and chose. When the verses of the Most Merciful were recited to them, they fell in prostration and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ Then there succeeded after them a succession who wasted the prayer, and followed lusts; so they shall encounter error 59 Excepted, however, shall be those who repent and attain to faith and do righteous deeds: for it is they who will enter paradise and will not be wronged in any way: 60 [theirs will be the] gardens of perpetual bliss which the Most Gracious has promised unto His servants, in a realm which is beyond the reach of human perception: [and,] verily, His promise is ever sure of fulfilment! 61 No empty talk will they hear there - nothing but [tidings of] inner soundness and peace; and there will they have their sustenance by day and by night: 62 That is Paradise which We shall give as an inheritance to those of Our servants who are godfearing. 63 (The angels say:) "We descend not but by command of thy Lord: to Him belongeth what is before us and what is behind us, and what is between: and thy Lord never doth forget,- 64 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them. Worship Him and be steadfast in your worship of Him; none is equal to Him. 65
