Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
