And remember Moosa in the Book; he was indeed a chosen one, and he was a Noble Messenger, a Herald of the Hidden. 51 We called him from the right side of the mountain Tur, and brought him close to reveal Our secret. 52 And bestowed on him his brother Aaron, a prophet, through Our benevolence. 53 And mention in the Book, Ishmael. Indeed, he was true to his promise, and he was a messenger and a prophet. 54 And he enjoined on his family prayer and almsgiving, and was one in whom his Lord was well pleased. 55 Also mention in the Book the case of Idris: He was a man of truth (and sincerity), (and) a prophet: 56 And We raised him to an exalted station. 57 These are (some of) those who were favoured by God among the prophets of the progeny of Adam, and of those We bore in the ark with Noah, and the offspring of Abraham and Israel, and of those We guided and We chose, for they bowed weeping in adoration when the revelations of Ar-Rahman were recited to them. ۩ 58 ۞ They were succeeded by a people who neglected the Prayers and pursued their lusts. They shall presently meet with their doom, 59 Except those who repent and believe, and work righteousness: for these will enter the Garden and will not be wronged in the least,- 60 Everlasting Gardens of Eden, which the Most Gracious has promised to His bondmen in the unseen; indeed His promise will come. 61 No empty talk will they hear there - nothing but [tidings of] inner soundness and peace; and there will they have their sustenance by day and by night: 62 This is the Paradise those of Our creatures will inherit who take heed and fear the displeasure of God. 63 (Muhammad), we (the angels) do not come to you without being commanded by your Lord to do so. To Him belongs all that is before us, behind us, and in between. Your Lord is not forgetful. 64 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them! Worship, then, Him alone, and remain steadfast in His worship! Dost thou know any whose name is worthy to be mentioned side by side with His?" 65
