And says man, “When I am dead, will I soon be brought forth alive?” 66 Does he not remember that We created him when he did not exist? 67 By thy Lord, then, We shall surely gather them and the satans; thereafter We shall surely bring them round Hell, kneeling. 68 Then We shall pluck out from every sect whichever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to the Beneficent. 69 We surely know best those most deserving of the fires of hell, 70 There is not one of you but shall pass by Hell. This is a decree which your Lord will fulfil. 71 Then We shall deliver those who have feared, and shall have the wrong-doers therein kneeling. 72 When Our lucid revelations are read out to them, the infidels say to those who believe: "Which of the two groups is better in standing, and whose company is more excellent?" 73 How many generations that had far more wealth and ostentation have We laid low before them! 74 (Muhammad), tell them, "The Beneficent God gives respite to those who have gone astray only until they face the torment with which they were threatened or to the Day of Judgment. Then they will find out who will have the most miserable place and the weakest forces. 75 God further enlightens those who seek guidance. To those who do charitable deeds which produce continuing benefits, your Lord will give a better reward and a better place in Paradise. 76 Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our verses and said, "I will surely be given wealth and children [in the next life]?" 77 Has he gained knowledge of the Unseen? Or taken a covenant with the Merciful? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall add and add to his punishment. 79 And it is We only Who shall inherit what he says (belongs to him), and he will come to Us, alone. 80 For [such as] these have taken to worshipping deities other than God, hoping that they would be a [source of] strength for them. 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worship and shall become their adversaries instead. 82

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
