The human says: 'What, when I am dead, shall I be raised to life?' 66 Will not man remember that We created him aforetime, when he was nothing? 67 So, by thy Lord, without doubt, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Evil Ones (with them); then shall We bring them forth on their knees round about Hell; 68 and thereupon We shall, indeed, draw forth from every group [of sinners] the ones that had been most determined in their disdainful rebellion against the Most Gracious: 69 Then surely it is We who are the Best Knower of these worthiest of being therein roasted. 70 It is the inevitable decree of your Lord that every one of you will be taken to hell. 71 We will save the pious ones from the hell fire and leave the unjust people therein in crowded groups. 72 And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Which of [our] two parties is best in position and best in association?" 73 And yet, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [people] who surpassed them in material power and in outward show! 74 Say: "As for him who lives in error, may the Most Gracious lengthen the span of his life! [And let them say whatever they say until the time when they behold that [doom] of which they were forewarned - whether it be suffering [in this world] or [at the coming of] the Last Hour - for then they will understand which [of the two kinds of man] was worse in station and weaker in resources! 75 And Allah will increase the guidance for those who have received guidance; and good deeds that remain have the best reward before your Lord, and the best outcome. 76 Hast thou observed him who disbelieveth in Our signs and saith: surely I shall be vouchsafed riches and children. 77 What, has he observed the Unseen, or taken a covenant with the All-merciful? 78 By no means! We shall write down all what he says; and We shall greatly prolong his chastisement, 79 and We shall inherit all the resources and hosts of which he boasts, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 And they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that they would be for them [a source of] honor. 81 Nay, but they (the so-called gods) will deny their worship of them, and become opponents to them (on the Day of Resurrection). 82
