Man asks, "When I am once dead, shall I be raised to life?" 66 Will the human not remember that We created him before when he was not a thing? 67 And so, by thy Sustainer, [on Judgment Day] We shall most certainly bring them forth together with the satanic forces [which impelled them in life] and then We shall most certainly gather them, on their knees, around hell; 68 and thereupon We shall, indeed, draw forth from every group [of sinners] the ones that had been most determined in their disdainful rebellion against the Most Gracious: 69 And surely We are Best Aware of those most worthy to be burned therein. 70 There is not one of you but shall approach it. That is a fixed ordinance of thy Lord. 71 And We will deliver those who guarded (against evil), and We will leave the unjust therein on their knees. 72 And when Our clear revelations are recited unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: Which of the two parties (yours or ours) is better in position, and more imposing as an army? 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before these, who were goodlier in goods and outward appearance? 74 (Muhammad), tell them, "The Beneficent God gives respite to those who have gone astray only until they face the torment with which they were threatened or to the Day of Judgment. Then they will find out who will have the most miserable place and the weakest forces. 75 God increases His guidance to those who follow guidance; and lasting good works are better in the sight of your Lord and are most rewarding. 76 Have you seen him who denies Our revelations, and says: "I will certainly be given wealth and children." 77 Has he the knowledge of the unseen or has the Beneficent God established such a binding agreement with Him? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall add and add to his punishment. 79 We shall inherit that of which he speaks and he will come before Us alone. 80 For [such as] these have taken to worshipping deities other than God, hoping that they would be a [source of] strength for them. 81 Never; soon they will deny ever worshipping them, and will turn into their opponents. 82
