Hast thou not seen how We sent the Satans against the unbelievers, to prick them? 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 The Day will surely come when We shall gather the God-fearing like [honoured] guests before the Compassionate God 85 And drive the guilty towards hell, thirsty. 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from the Most Beneficent (Allah). 87 They say, "The Gracious One has begotten a son." 88 Assuredly ye utter a disastrous thing 89 Thereby the heavens are nearly torn and the earth split asunder, and mountains fall crashing down 90 at their ascribing a son to the Most Compassionate Lord. 91 It does not befit the Most Compassionate Lord that He should take a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but comes before Ar-Rahman in all obedience. 93 Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 And how many a generation We destroyed before them! Dost thou perceive so much as one of them, or hear of them a whisper? 98
