Have you not seen how We send down to the unbelievers satans who prick them? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 The day We shall gather the righteous to (Allah) Most Gracious, like a band presented before a king for honours, 85 And shall drive the culprits to Hell as a herd. 86 None will have [power of] intercession except he who had taken from the Most Merciful a covenant. 87 They say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!" 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 the heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth break asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent Allah. 91 But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Beneficent (Allah) that He should beget a son (or offspring or children). 92 All that is in the heavens and the earth will return to the Beneficent God as His submissive servants. 93 Certainly He has a comprehensive knowledge of them and He has numbered them a (comprehensive) numbering. 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection. 96 So We have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news thereby to those who guard (against evil) and warn thereby a vehemently contentious people. 97 How many generations living before them did We destroy? Do you find anyone of them around or do you even hear any word from them? 98
