In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 And by the winds that blow violently, 2 And those that revive by quickening, 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 When the stars are obliterated, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 And when the apostles are collected at the appointed time, 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 for an appointed term? 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Did We not make the earth as a gathering place 25 for the living and the dead, 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 Depart unto the shadow three branched: 30 which neither provides (cooling) shade nor protection against the flames; 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 34 This is the Day they shall not speak, 35 Nor will they be given permission to present excuses. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
