Do you not realize that We have sent Satan to incite the unbelievers to sin. 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 On the day that We shall muster the godfearing to the All-merciful with pomp 85 and drive the evildoers into Gehenna herding, 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from (Allah) Most Gracious. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 You have indeed brought an extremely grave speech! 89 The heavens are wellnigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains wellnigh fall down crashing for 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 Certainly He has a comprehensive knowledge of them and He has numbered them a (comprehensive) numbering. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. 95 On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. 96 (Muhammad), We have given you the Book (the Quran) in your own language so that you could easily give the glad news to the pious ones and warn the quarrelsome ones. 97 And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound? 98
