Do you not realize that We have sent Satan to incite the unbelievers to sin. 83 So make no haste against them (O Muhammad). We do but number unto them a sum (of days). 84 On the day when We shall assemble the righteous towards the Most Gracious, as guests. 85 and We shall drive the sinful like a thirsty herd into Hell. 86 On that Day none will have the power to intercede for them except those who received a sanction from the Most Compassionate Lord. 87 And they say, 'The All-merciful has taken unto Himself a son. 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 there is none in the heavens or on the earth but shall return to the Merciful in utter submission, 93 He knows their number and has counted each one of them. 94 each one of them shall come to Him one by one on the Day of Judgement. 95 On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
