T H (Taa Haa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta' Ha' 1 We have not sent the Quran to make you, (Muhammad), miserable, 2 But as admonition for him who fears -- 3 A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens, 4 The Beneficent God is dominant over the Throne (of the realm). 5 His is whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever on the earth and whatsoever is in between and whatsoever is underneath the earth. 6 And if you speak aloud – so He surely knows the secret and that which is more concealed. 7 God: There is no god but He. To Him belong the attributes most beautiful. 8 Hath there come unto thee the story of Musa? 9 When he saw a fire, and said to his family, 'Tarry you here; I observe a fire. Perhaps I shall bring you a brand from it, or I shall find at the fire guidance.' 10 When he reached it, he was called: 'O Moses, 11 "Verily I am thy Lord! therefore (in My presence) put off thy shoes: thou art in the sacred valley Tuwa. 12 “And I have chosen you, therefore listen carefully to what is divinely revealed to you.” 13 Lo! I, even I, am Allah, There is no Allah save Me. So serve Me and establish worship for My remembrance. 14 Lo! the Hour is surely coming. But I will to keep it hidden, that every soul may be rewarded for that which it striveth (to achieve). 15 Let not the unbelievers who follow their vain desires make you forget the Day of Judgment, lest you will perish." 16 And what is that in thy right hand, O Moses? 17 'It is my staff," Moses replied, "upon it I lean and with it I beat down leaves to feed my sheep and for me there are other uses in it' 18 (Allah) said: "Cast it down, O Musa (Moses)!" 19 So he threw it down, and lo! it was a rapidly moving snake. 20 The Lord said, "Hold the serpent and do not be afraid; We will bring it back to its original form." 21 Put your hand under your armpit: it will come out [shining] white, without any blemish. This shall be another sign. 22 That We may show you of Our greater signs: 23 “Go to Firaun, he has rebelled.” 24
