T H (Taa Haa)
135 verses, revealed in Mecca after Mary (Maryam) before The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta Ha 1 We have not sent down the Qur'an to thee to be (an occasion) for thy distress, 2 But only as a reminder for those who fear [Allah] - 3 a revelation from Him who created the earth and the high heavens; 4 the All-compassionate sat Himself upon the Throne; to Him belongs 5 To Him only belongs all whatever is in the heavens and all whatever is in the earth, and all whatever is between them, and all whatever is beneath this wet soil. 6 And if you speak aloud so He surely knows the secret and that which is more concealed. 7 Allah! There is no Allah save Him. His are the most beautiful names. 8 Has the story of Moses come to you? 9 When he saw a fire and said unto his folk: Lo! Wait! I see a fire afar off. Peradventure I may bring you a brand therefrom or may find guidance at the fire. 10 But when he came to the fire, a voice was heard: "O Moses! 11 Surely I am your Lord, therefore put off your shoes; surely you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa, 12 And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed [to you]. 13 Verily I! I am Allah! no God there is but I; so worship Me, and establish prayer for My remembrance. 14 Verily the Hour is coming - I wish to conceal it - in order that every one may be requited according to that which he hath endeavoured. 15 “Therefore never let one, who does not accept faith in it and follows his own desires, prevent you from accepting this, so then you become ruined.” 16 "And what is that in your right hand, O Musa (Moses)?" 17 He replied, "It is my staff. I lean on it, and with it, I beat down the leaves for my flock; I also have other uses for it." 18 (Allah) said: "Cast it down, O Musa (Moses)!" 19 So he threw it down, and lo, it became a running serpent. 20 [Allah] said, "Seize it and fear not; We will return it to its former condition. 21 And press thy hand to thy side, it will come forth white, without hurt, as another sign. 22 so that We might make thee aware of some of Our greatest wonders. 23 Go to the Pharaoh; he has become a rebel." 24

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
