Said Moosa, “My Lord, open up my breast for me.” 25 'and do Thou ease for me my task. 26 And loose the knot from my tongue, 27 “In order that they may understand my speech.” 28 And give to me an aider from my family: 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 By him confirm my strength 31 Let him be my partner in this task 32 That we may sing Your praises much, 33 "And remember You much, 34 Surely, Thou art seeing us. 35 Allah said: "You are granted your request, O Musa (Moses)! 36 And certainly We bestowed on you a favor at another time; 37 when We inspired thy mother with this inspiration: 38 'Put him in a wooden box and cast it in the river. The river will cast it on the bank. An enemy of Ours, and his, will retrieve it.' We bestowed Our love on you that you may be reared under Our eyes. 39 Then your sister followed you, and said (to the people who had retrieved the child): 'Should I guide you to a person who can nurse him?' We thus brought you back to your mother that her heart may be cheered, and she may not grieve. (Remember) when you killed a man We saved you from anguish; and tested and steeled you (in other ways). Afterwards you sojourned for several years with the people of Midian; then you came up to the measure, 40 “And I created you especially for Myself.” 41 Go you and your brother with My communications and be not remiss in remembering Me; 42 go forth, both of you, unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity! 43 and speak to him gently, perhaps he may take heed or fear (Allah)." 44 They said: Our Lord! Lo! we fear that he may be beforehand with us or that he may play the tyrant. 45 He replied: 'Have no fear I shall be with you, both hearing and seeing. 46 So go to him and say, 'Indeed, we are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the Children of Israel and do not torment them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And peace will be upon he who follows the guidance. 47 Surely it has been revealed to us that the chastisement will surely come upon him who rejects and turns back. 48 (Firon) said: And who is your Lord, O Musa? 49 He said: "Our Lord is He Who gave everything its form and then guided it." 50 [Pharaoh] said, "Then what is the case of the former generations?" 51 Moses said, "My Lord alone has knowledge of that, recorded in a Book. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 He who appointed the earth to be a cradle for you, and therein threaded roads for you, and sent down water out of heaven, and therewith We have brought forth divers kinds of plants. 53 Eat and pasture your cattle: verily therein are signs for men of sagacity. 54
