Moses said, "My Lord! open up my heart, 25 Make my task easy 26 “And untie the knot of my tongue.” 27 That they may understand my speech. 28 "And appoint for me a helper from my family, 29 Aaron, my brother; 30 to support me. 31 Let him be my partner in this task 32 so that we may glorify You much 33 "And remember You much, 34 Surely, Thou art seeing us. 35 He answered: "Granted is your prayer, O Moses. 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on you another time (before). 37 "Behold! We sent to thy mother, by inspiration, the message: 38 "'Throw (the child) into the chest, and throw (the chest) into the river: the river will cast him up on the bank, and he will be taken up by one who is an enemy to Me and an enemy to him': But I cast (the garment of) love over thee from Me: and (this) in order that thou mayest be reared under Mine eye. 39 “When your sister went, then said, ‘Shall I show you the people who may nurse him?’ And We brought you back to your mother in order to soothe her eyes and that she may not grieve; and you killed a man, so We freed you from sorrow, and tested you to the maximum; you therefore stayed for several years among the people of Madyan; then you came (here) at an appointed time, O Moosa.” 40 I have chosen you for Myself. 41 "Go you and your brother with My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and do not, you both, slacken and become weak in My Remembrance. 42 Go, both of you, to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed. 43 “And speak to him courteously, that perhaps he may ponder or have some fear.” 44 They both submitted, “Our Lord – indeed we fear that he may oppress us or deal mischievously.” 45 The Lord replied them, "Do not be afraid; I Am with you all the time, listening and seeing." 46 So go to him, and say: verily we are two apostles of thy Lord, so let go with us the Children of Isra'il, and torment them not; surely we have come unto thee with a sign from thy Lord: and peace be upon him who followeth the guidance. 47 It is revealed to us that those who call our message a lie or turn away from it will face the torment." 48 [But when God's message was conveyed unto Pharaoh,] he said: "Who, now, is this Sustainer of you two, O Moses?" 49 They replied, "Our Lord is the One Who has created all things and has given guidance". 50 [Pharaoh] said, "Then what is the case of the former generations?" 51 Musa said: the knowledge thereof is with my Lord in the Book; my Lord erreth not, nor He forgetteth. 52 It is He who has made for you the earth as a cradle and threaded roads for you and sends down water from the sky with which We bring forth every kind of plant. 53 Do you eat, and pasture your cattle! Surely in that are signs for men possessing reason. 54
