But no; I swear by what you see, 38 And what you do not see, 39 it is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet, little is that you believe! 41 Nor is it the speech of a soothsayer; how little do you ponder! 42 It has been sent down by the Lord of all the worlds. 43 And if he had fabricated against Us some of the sayings, 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 and not one of you could have defended him. 47 The Quran is certainly a reminder for the pious ones. 48 We certainly know that some among you will give the lie to it, 49 And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers. 50 yet it is a certain truth. 51 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
