Say, "Who will save you from the wrath of the Most Gracious, by night and by day?" Yet they turn away from the remembrance of their Lord. 42 Or have they gods to defend them, other than Us? Indeed, they are unable to help themselves, neither shall they be guarded in safety from Us. 43 We gave days of enjoyment to them and their fathers until their life became long. Are they unable to see how We come to their land and reduce its borders. Or, is it they who are the victors? 44 Say, "I do but warn you according to revelation": But the deaf will not hear the call, (even) when they are warned! 45 If a blast of the torment of your Lord strikes them, they will say, "Woe to us! We have been unjust people." 46 And We will set up a just balance on the day of resurrection, so no soul shall be dealt with unjustly in the least; and though there be the weight of a grain of mustard seed, (yet) will We bring it, and sufficient are We to take account. 47 Surely We had granted to Moses and Aaron the Criterion (between right and wrong), and Light and Admonition for the good of the God-fearing, 48 such as fear God in the Unseen, trembling because of the Hour. 49 And this [Qur'an] is a blessed message which We have sent down.
