Al-Mu' minoon 2 of 6

And indeed We sent Nooh towards his people – he therefore said, “O my people! Worship Allah, you do not have any other God except Him; so do you not fear?” 23 The leaders of his people who denied the truth, said, "He is only a human being like yourselves who wants to make himself superior to you. If God had wished, He would have sent down angels. We never heard about this from our forefathers. 24 He is a person who has been seized with a little madness; so wait for a while (perhaps he will improve)." 25 Noah prayed, "Lord, help me; they have called me a liar". 26 Then We said to him, 'Make thou the Ark under Our eyes and as We reveal, and then, when Our command comes and the Oven boils, insert in it two of every kind and thy, family -- except for him against whom the word already has been spoken; and address Me not concerning those who have done evil; they shall be drowned. 27 When you and all your followers have settled in the Ark, say, "Praise be to God who has delivered us from a wicked people," 28 And say: "O my Lord! enable me to disembark with thy blessing: for Thou art the Best to enable (us) to disembark." 29 Surely in that are signs, and surely We put to the test. 30 Then after them, We created another generation. 31 And we sent among them a messenger of their own, saying: Serve Allah, Ye have no other Allah save Him. Will ye not ward off (evil)? 32
