O ye messengers! enjoy (all) things good and pure, and work righteousness: for I am well-acquainted with (all) that ye do. 51 Surely this community of yours is one community, and I am your Lord; so fear Me.' 52 But the people divided their religion among them into sects - each faction, in what it has, rejoicing. 53 So leave them immersed in their heedlessness till an appointed time. 54 Do they assume that the wealth and sons which We provide them – 55 We provide them with the means of competing with each other in virtuous deeds, but they do not realize this. 56 Indeed those who are overwhelmed due to the fear of their Lord – 57 and believe in His messages 58 And those who join not anyone (in worship) as partners with their Lord; 59 And those who give that which they give with hearts afraid because they are about to return unto their Lord, 60 These are hastening on to good, and they are therein foremost. 61 And We do not lay on any soul a burden except to the extent of its ability, and with Us is a book which speaks the truth, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly. 62 Yet their hearts are oblivious of this; and besides, they are busy with other things, 63 Until, when We seize in Punishment those of them who received the good things of this world, behold, they will groan in supplication! 64 Do not cry out for help this day, for surely you shall not be helped by Us. 65 My signs were recited to you, but upon your heels you withdrew, 66 being proud against it, talking foolishness by night. 67 Why did they not think over the message? Or has something come to them which had not come to their fathers? 68 Or did they not recognise their Messenger and so denied him? 69 Or do they say, "He is possessed"? Nay, he has brought them the Truth, but most of them hate the Truth. 70 If truth had followed their whims and desires, heavens and earth and all that lives in them would have been brought to ruin. Rather We have brought them their Reminder. Yet they keep avoiding their Reminder. 71 Do you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) ask any fee from them? So the reward of your Lord is the best; and He is the Best Provider of Sustenance. 72 And verily, thou callest them onto a straight way 73 But those who believe not in the Hereafter turn away from the straight path. 74 ۞ And if We show mercy to them and remove the distress they have, they would persist in their inordinacy, blindly wandering on. 75 Already We have seized them with the punishment, but they neither humbled themselves to their Lord, nor did they beseech Him, 76 Until when We have opened before them a door of severe punishment, immediately they will be therein in despair. 77
