۞ Also We revealed unto Moses, 'Go with My servants by night; surely you will be followed.' 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 and when the groups came face to face, the companions of Moses cried out: "We are overtaken!" 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 Then drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
