And it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful. 78 And it is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered. 79 It is He who revives and makes to die, and to Him belong the alternation of the night and the day. Will you not understand! 80 And talk as did the people of old. 81 They say, "When we die and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 We and our forefathers were promised this before. This is nothing but fables of the ancients." 83 Say, "To whom do the earth and all therein belong? Tell me, if you have any knowledge?" 84 They will quickly reply, "It belongs to God." Say, "Will you not, then, take heed?" 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Great Throne' 86 They will say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not then fear Allah (believe in His Oneness, obey Him, believe in the Resurrection and Recompense for each and every good or bad deed)." 87 Say: "In whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things, and who is it that protects, the while there is no protection against Him? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 88 They will reply spontaneously, "It is God." Ask them, "Why has falsehood bewitched you?" 89 We have revealed to them the truth. But they are certainly liars. 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 knowing all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind and hence, sublimely exalted is He above anything to which they may ascribe a share in His divinity! 92
