And it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful. 78 And He it is Who multiplied you in the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered. 79 It is He Who gives life and death, and to Him (is due) the alternation of Night and Day: will ye not then understand? 80 On the contrary, they said the same as what the former people used to say. 81 They say: When we are dead and have become (mere) dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised again? 82 We were promised such things and so were our forefathers before us. All these are no more than tales of the past." 83 (Muhammad), say to them, "Tell me, if you know, to whom does the earth and its contents belong?" 84 They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember? 85 Ask them, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Great Throne?" 86 They will surely say: God. Say thou: will ye not then fear? 87 Say: Who is it in Whose hand is the kingdom of all things and Who gives succor, but against Him Succor is not given, if you do but know? 88 They will say, "All this belongs to God." Say to them, "How are you then deluded?" 89 We have revealed to them the truth. But they are certainly liars. 90 No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! 91 He has the knowledge of all seen and unseen things. He is too exalted to be considered equal to anything else. 92
