Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!" 94 And We are certainly able to show thee (in fulfilment) that against which they are warned. 95 [But whatever they may say or do,] repel the evil [which they commit] with something that is better: We are fully aware of what they attribute [to Us]. 96 And say "O my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee from the suggestions of the Evil Ones. 97 And I seek refuge in Thee! O my Lord! from their presence. 98 (They shall persist in their deeds) until when death comes to anyone of them he will say: "My Lord, send me back to the world 99 so that perhaps I shall act righteously for the rest of my life." Although he will say so but his wish will never come true. After death they will be behind a barrier until the day of their resurrection. 100 And when the trumpet is blown there will be no kinship among them that day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 And he whose balances shall be light - these are they who have lost themselves; in Hell they are abiders. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces and they will abide therein with their faces distorted. 104 (It will be said): Were not My revelations recited unto you, and then ye used to deny them? 105 They will say: "O Lord, our misery overwhelmed us, so we remained a people astray. 106 Lord, deliver us from Hell. Then, if we revert again, we shall definitely be wrongdoers." 107 He shall say: slink away there unto, and speak not unto Me. 108 "Behold, there were among My servants such as would pray, 'O our Sustainer! We have come to believe [in Thee]; forgive, then, our sins and bestow Thy mercy on us: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!' 109 But you ridiculed them. So much so that out of (spite) for them you forgot to remember Me and laughed at them. 110 I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, and it is they who have triumphed." 111 God will ask them, "How many years did you live in your graves?" 112 They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count' 113 He will say: "You stayed there only a moment, if you knew. 114 So do you think that We have created you needlessly, and that you do not have to return to Us? 115 Then, exalted be God, the true King, there is no deity except Him, the Lord of the Glorious Throne. 116 If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through! 117 And say: O my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 118
