Say: O my Lord! if Thou shouldst make me see what they are threatened with: 93 do not, O my Sustainer, let me be one of those evildoing folk!" 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We know that which they describe. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I take refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Satans, 97 I seek refuge with You, Lord, lest they should come near me." 98 Until, when death cometh unto one of them, he saith: My Lord! Send me back, 99 so that perhaps I shall act righteously for the rest of my life." Although he will say so but his wish will never come true. After death they will be behind a barrier until the day of their resurrection. 100 So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 And as for him whose good deeds are light, these are they who shall have lost their souls, abiding in hell 103 The fire will scorch their faces and they will be groaning therein in pain. 104 (We shall say): 'Were My verses not recited to you, and did you not belie them' 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our misfortune prevailed over us. We were indeed an erring people. 106 “Our Lord, remove us from hell then if we do the same, we are the unjust.” 107 He shall say: slink away there unto, and speak not unto Me. 108 Among My worshipers there were a party who said: "Lord, we believed. Forgive us and have mercy on us: You are the Best of the merciful." 109 But you took them for a laughing-stock, till they made you forget My remembrance, mocking at them. 110 Today I shall recompense them for their patience, for it is they that have won. 111 They will be asked: "How long did you live on the earth in terms of years?" 112 They will say: We tarried by a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count! 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us' 115 Then high exalted be God, the King, the True! There is no god but He? the Lord of the noble Throne. 116 If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through! 117 Hence, [O believer,] say: "O my Sustainer! Grant [me] forgiveness and bestow Thy mercy [upon me]: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!" 118
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
