Pray, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, if You should bring the scourge of which they had been warned in my presence, 93 "My Lord! Then (save me from Your Punishment), and put me not amongst the people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing)." 94 We have the Power to strike them with torment before your very eyes. 95 [But whatever they may say or do,] repel the evil [which they commit] with something that is better: We are fully aware of what they attribute [to Us]. 96 And say: My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from suggestions of the evil ones, 97 I seek your protection should they approach me." 98 (But the unbelievers will persist) until when death comes to one of them he will say: "O Lord, send me back again 99 Haply I may do good in that which I have left. By no means! it is a (mere) word that he speaks; and before them is a barrier until the day they are raised. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no more relationships between them that Day, nor will one ask after another! 101 then those whose scales weigh heavy with good works will be successful. 102 And those whose scales are light are those who lose their souls, in hell abiding. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 [It will be said]. "Were not My verses recited to you and you used to deny them?" 105 They will say: our Lord! our wretchedness overcame us, and we have been a people erring. 106 Lord, take us out of this and if we sin again, we shall certainly be unjust". 107 He will say: 'Slink there in it and do not speak to Me' 108 "Indeed there was a group among My bondmen who said, 'Our Lord! We have accepted faith, therefore forgive us and have mercy on us, and You are the Best Among The Merciful.' ” 109 But you made a laughing stock of them to the point where it made you forget My remembrance; and you went on laughing at them. 110 “Indeed this day I have rewarded them for their endurance, so that it is they who are the successful.” 111 He will say, “How long did you stay on earth, counting by the number of years? 112 They shall say, 'We have tarried a day, or part of a day; ask the numberers!' 113 [Whereupon] He will say: "You have spent there but a short while: had you but known [how short it was to be]! 114 Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?" 115 God is the most exalted King and the Supreme Truth. He is the only God and the Lord of the Gracious Throne. 116 And whosoever calls upon another god with God, whereof he has no proof, his reckoning is with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 And (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) say, “My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, and You are the Best of all the Merciful. 118
