Say: I only call upon my Lord, and I do not associate any one with Him. 20 Say: "Verily, it is not in my power to cause you harm or to endow you with consciousness of what is right." 21 Say: Surely no one can protect me against Allah, nor can I find besides Him any place of refuge: 22 except a deliverance from Allah and His Messages. He who disobeys Allah and His Messenger, for him is the Fire of Gehenna, which he will be in for ever. 23 When they see that which they were promised they shall know who is weaker in helpers and fewer in numbers. 24 (Muhammad), say, "I do not know whether that with which you have been threatened is close by or whether my Lord will prolong the time of its coming. 25 He [alone] knows that which is beyond the reach of a created being's perception, and to none does He disclose aught of the mysteries of His Own unfathomable knowledge, 26 except the messenger whom He has chosen. He sends down guardians who walk before them and behind them, 27 so that He may know that they have delivered the messages of their Lord. He encompasses in His knowledge their surroundings and keeps a count of all things.” 28
